The Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 was unlike any other RE motorcycle we had seen before. It had all the componentry to back its cafe racer claim other than the engine which proved to be its weakest link. A record that Royal Enfield was keen on setting straight with their first ever 648cc parallel twin motor. And the figures looked promising enough for Sarge to don his race suit and hit his favourite mountain pass to test its mettle. But the ride review turned out to be a lot longer than expected as Sarge ventured further to explore the potential unlocked by its sibling, the Interceptor 650 where the Continental GT 650 came short.
